The app has been developed by tech entrepreneurs Anirudha Kotgire and Mandar Lande from Destek HoReCa, one of the leading technology companies in Pune with the support from Indian Hotel & Restaurant Association (AHAR), and many leading associations in the hospitality industry.
Sukesh Shetty, president, Indian Hotel & Restaurant Association, said, “Waayu App is an attempt to democratise the food delivery ecosystem with zero commissions. With the removal of commission fees, restaurants can price their dishes more competitively, passing on the savings to consumers. As a result, customers can enjoy their favourite meals without the burden of inflated prices often associated with traditional delivery services.”
