Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu launched this initiative on December 21, 2024. This was the time of the airport’s centenary celebrations and the cafe became the traveller’s favourite within no time.
The cafe is situated in a departure area that is also a strategic location. If we talk about their offerings, it starts with tea priced as low as Rs 10. This also shows their commitment to catering to consumers without being as costly as other outlets. This is because they are also considering long-standing passenger complaints about overpriced food and beverages in airports.
In this more than one-month-long journey, the cafe has served approx 27,000 passengers. So, we can consider this launch a great success that also encourages opening more such outlets across different airports in the country.
