The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is one of the most prestigious international wine awards held every year since 1984. The IWC has received more than 18,000 wine entries this year and a Gold medal is a rare honour.
Delighted at the wins, Rajeev Samant, founder & CEO, Sula Vineyards, said, “An International Wine Challenge medal is one of the most prestigious honours for the global wine industry. We are absolutely thrilled to be the first ever Indian winery to win a Gold medal with our Brut Tropicale bubbly. This award is a terrific milestone that firmly puts Indian wines on the world wine map and paves the way for many more to come. This IWC Gold is a testament to our team’s hard work and to the increasing quality of Sula and Indian wines. Kudos to the entire Sula family for this honour.”
