The new breakfast beverage contains the same 10g of protein and 21 vitamins and minerals as the original Carnation Breakfast Essentials Nutritional Drinks, combined with the flavour of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll.
According to Nestlé Health Science, Carnation Breakfast Essentials Original Drinks are nutritionally appropriate for children aged four years and older, teenagers and adults.
The drinks aim to help consumers to meet their daily nutritional needs and fill nutritional gaps, and feature nutrients including calcium and vitamins D and C.
“Carnation Breakfast Essentials believes that nutrient-rich breakfast options shouldn’t mean sacrificing taste,” said Abigail Buckwalter, vice president marketing, Nestlé Health Science USA.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Cinnabon to give families a new way to enjoy the flavour of a Cinnabon cinnamon roll, while still offering all of the protein, vitamins and minerals that families love about Carnation Breakfast Essentials.”
The new offering will be available in a six-count pack of 8fl oz bottles at Walmart, on Amazon and in other stores across the US starting this month.
Nestlé Health Science recently collaborated with Kellogg’s and General Mills to add a variety of new cereal-flavoured beverages to its Carnation Breakfast Essentials line.
