The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Western India (HRAWI) has partnered with FSSAI. They recently concluded a Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) program, which took place on 6th February 2025. 62 hospitality professionals across the sector also attended this event. The discussion was all about how they can elevate food safety and hygiene standards in the industry.

Many critical topics were part of this training. Especially, food handling protocols, sanitation practices, and operating procedures came out to be the primary focus. They made participants aware of the latest FSSAI guidelines and encouraged them to maintain high standards in all their practices.

HRAWI is on a mission to make hospitality businesses excellent in handling food safety. This is how they have successfully trained and certified over 2,760 professionals through FSSAI’s FoSTaC program.

It clearly shows their commitment to improving customer experience through giving proper education to professionals. Implementing this initiative is definitely going to bring a huge positive shift in the sector.
