The Coca-Cola Company has unveiled its inaugural line of prebiotic sodas under the Simply brand, called Simply Pop. With this product, Coca-Cola is primarily focusing on health-conscious consumers. So, Coca-Cola has successfully entered the prebiotic soda market, which may be worth approximately $3.5 billion by 2032.

If we talk about the overall profile of Simply Pop, 25% to 30% real fruit juice will be present without any added sugar. Each 12-ounce can contains 6 grams of prebiotic fibre, along with vitamin C and zinc. Strawberry, Pineapple Mango, Fruit Punch, Lime, and Citrus Punch-like flavours are their initial offerings. They claim it to be healthy for consumers, supporting gut health and improving immune function.

Senior Vice President of Nutrition at The Coca-Cola Company, Becca Kerr, emphasises the product’s overall motive by stating, “We found that consumers, especially wellness-focused Gen Z-ers and Millennials, were really interested in juice and prebiotic sodas.”

The product will be initially available in select regions around the Western and Southeastern United States. Plus, consumers can also access it online through Amazon Fresh. For now, they have priced each can at $2.49.

With the expansion of the prebiotic soda industry, consumers are eager to have more flavour alongside health benefits. This is where Simply Pop has the opportunity to stand out. So, the product is expected to achieve so many milestones within the industry.
