Nestlé has added a new range of festive Starbucks coffees to its at-home product portfolio to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.
Starbucks Holiday Coffees and Favourites will begin to roll out globally in select supermarkets and online through the end of the year for consumers to enjoy at-home for the first time.
The at-home range will feature five seasonal coffees in two flavours: toffee nut latte and holiday blend, the latter described as being a balanced and sweet coffee with herbal and maple notes.
Starbucks holiday blend will be available in three coffee varieties: roast and ground, whole bean coffee and as Nespresso capsules. Meanwhile Starbucks toffee nut latte will be available for Nescafé Dolce Gusto systems and as a premium instant coffee.
The limited-edition line will come in red packaging, inspired by Starbucks’s iconic red cup launched 20 years ago to mark the arrival of the holiday season.
“This year’s holiday season will be different for many of us due to the ongoing pandemic,” said Philipp Navratil, head of beverages strategic business unit at Nestlé.
He added: “By offering this Starbucks Holiday Coffees and Favourites range, we are excited to give consumers the opportunity to bring the taste of the holidays home. It is the chance to experience the comfort of the café and the Starbucks experience at home, in a new way.”
Starbucks Holiday Coffees and Favourites is the latest innovation as part of Nestlé and Starbucks’ global coffee alliance, formed in August 2018. It comes after the launch of non-dairy coffee creamers. a cold brew concentrate range and three new coffee blends in K-Cup pods.
