Agora Hospitalities is all set to launch Japan’s first Dorsett Hotel. This grand opening by Agora Osaka Sakai is taking place on March 25, 2025. The location is strategic as Osaka’s World Expo 2025 on Yumeshima will leverage it for seamless connectivity. Guests will be offered direct ferry service from the hotel’s pier to the Expo venue in just 30 minutes.

It will be located just three train stops from Namba and only 30 minutes away from Kansai Airport. The hotel will cater to both leisure and business travellers. Regarding its facilities, it has 321 rooms and suites, a meeting space, and a dining terrace for around 125 guests.

More than that, half of the guest rooms will have panoramic harbour views, while each room will contain a compact minibar, window-side seating, and sofa beds.

Despite all these, they are not overlooking sustainability and local culture. That is why ceramic tiles, bricks, and denim cushions are the kinds of materials used throughout the hotel. Guests booking directly will enjoy the exclusive Dorsett 26 Hours experience. This will allow them to check in flexibly and they can stay for a full 26 hours.

Exphesising this inauguration, Michael Xian, CEO and President of Agora Hospitality Group, says, “This partnership with Dorsett Hospitality International marks Agora’s 10th venture and reaffirms our commitment to exceptional hospitality in Japan.”
