Kellogg Partners with Wendy’s to Create Pringles Baconator Flavour

Kellogg has partnered with Wendy’s to create a new limited-edition Pringles flavour inspired by the restaurant’s signature Baconator burger. Wendy’s Baconator burger features a half-pound hamburger, cheese, six strips of Applewood smoked bacon, ketchup and mayo, and Kellogg claims it has replicated the flavour of the burger to create a ‘Pringles one-bite Baconator’. Pringles Baconator will be available nationwide from selected retailers in the US for a limited time beginning in June. The partnership will also feature a promotional campaign, which will allow consumers to receive a free burger with every purchase of the limited-edition Pringles flavour. Each can features a code on the seal which can be redeemed for a free Wendy’s Baconator, Son of Baconator, or Breakfast Baconator. Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles, said: “The Pringles brand delivers insanely accurate flavour combinations that are both delicious and convenient. “With such a strong fanbase, we knew we had to nail that fresh, never-frozen Wendy’s flavour perfectly. Luckily, our flavour experts were up to the task! The Pringles Baconator crisps are the perfect way to enjoy the savoury goodness, all in one bite.” Carl Loredo, Wendy’s US chief marketing officer, added: “We’re excited to work with the flavour experts at Pringles to deliver the taste our fans know and love in a unique way. We know our Baconator fanatics will be in for quite a treat when they taste how insanely accurate Pringles made this delicious crisp.”
