Nestlé India is going to invest approx. ₹1,100 crore in their upcoming projects. Their primary focus is to expand KitKat production, and they are adding a new manufacturing line to their Sanand Factory in Gujrat. This move can occur within the financial year 2024-25 and will easily boost their production capacity by 15,000 tonnes.

This is their small dedication toward the bigger goals of both greenfield and brownfield projects. The company is already very strong in terms of its finances, as the entire funding for this project is sourced from internal accruals only.

If we talk about the Sanand Factory, it is already a prominent manufacturing hub for Nestlé India. Now, it has become more crucial to them due to some obvious reasons. The company also produces KitKat in the Ponda Factory in Goa, which ensures a diverse and resilient product network.

The good news is that the company reported ₹688.01 crore of net profit in the last quarter, which is higher than the previous year at the same time. Still, the company is facing some challenges like food inflation while urban consumers are having their products in moderation. Despite all these hurdles, they are able to surpass their ₹4,583.63 crore of revenue from the corresponding quarter of the prior fiscal year. Currently, they stand at ₹4,762.13 crore in revenue from product sales.

Overall, Nestlé India’s position has always been stable due to their informed moves and now they are ready to expand their empire by expanding production capacity.
