Mondelēz International has launched three new limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk bars in the UK, as part of this year’s Cadbury Inventor competition.
This month, consumers can purchase three new limited-edition flavour variants – Coconutty, Crunchy Honeycomb and Out Of The Blueberry – created by this year’s Cadbury Inventor finalists.
Coconutty features milk chocolate with coconut crumble and white crisp pearls, whereas Crunchy Honeycomb combines milk chocolate, honeycomb pieces with caramel-flavoured fudge and chopped hazelnuts. Meanwhile, Out Of The Blueberry consists of milk chocolate with blueberry-flavoured nuggets and white crisp pearls.
As part of the competition, Cadbury is calling upon consumers to vote for their favourite flavour with the winning product to become the latest addition to the Cadbury Dairy Milk range. The public will be able to vote online until 6 September.
Gillian, the creator of Coconutty, said: “My children and I are big fans of white chocolate and coconut. After realising there aren’t that many white chocolate options in chocolate bars, the combination of coconut and white chocolate was formed to appeal to fresh coconut lovers who are dreaming of a tropical paradise this summer.”
Beatrice Berutti, Cadbury tablets brand manager at Cadbury, added: “The Cadbury Inventor 2020 competition is back for its second year and we couldn’t be more excited to share these new delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk flavours with the nation.
“We’ve loved working with Gillian, Shannon and Taylor to make their bars a reality and opening our doors to bring them into Cadbury. We can’t wait to see which bar wins and really want everyone to go out and vote for their favourite.”
All three bars will be available to purchase from Tesco stores from 8 July, before launching in participating supermarkets across the UK and Ireland on 22 July. The winner will be announced in September.
