India’s leading manufacturer, AAK Kamani, of specialty oils and fats, held the first edition of the Kamani Frozen Dessert Challenge at Hotel Ramada Powai, Mumbai, on September 13 and 14, 2019. The challenge was held to create innovative and healthy frozen desserts (FDs) using specialty vegetable fats developed by the company.
The programme aimed at promoting innovation, creating a market for healthy FDs and also provide a platform to local FD manufacturers to showcase their talents. Top FD manufacturers will participate in the challenge, recreating popular desserts using the company’s offerings.
The jury, which will comprise eminent personalities from the FD industry, will be judging the event on various parameters, including innovation, appearance, nutritional value, structural stability and others.
“We are extremely happy to launch the first edition of Kamani Frozen Dessert Challenge. This is going to be a great opportunity for FD manufacturers to display their talent and also generate awareness for the company’s frozen dessert solutions. Post the success of the first edition, we are planning to hold the challenge in other cities of India,” stated Arun Varma, vice-president, sales and marketing, AAK Kamani.
