Cereal brand Kellogg’s is rolling out a new flavour. The company’s spokesman said that the company will launch Kellogg’s Strawberry Krispies under its Rice Krispies brand in January. The product will be available nationwide at all retailers and grocery stores. A cereal maker has created the first new flavour in last 10 years for one of its cereal brands.
The new Strawberry Krispies cereal making process starts with a single grain of rice, which is cooked, dried, flattened and puffed. To give the final product desirable flavour the puffed rice cereal is then coated with strawberry flavour.
Chris Stolsky, associate director of marketing for Rice Krispies said, “Our fans are explorers who constantly seek new varieties, flavours and possibilities. We are introducing Strawberry Krispies to give them just that, a new cereal with endless moments of goodness packed in each bite.”
The product is launched in a pink-tinted cereal just before Valentine’s Day to offer its customers more “treat-making possibilities” for the holiday.
