Foodpanda reaches 100 Indian cities mark

Foodpanda, the food delivery company announced the expansion of its delivery network to 100 cities across India. The delivery network is now operational in 100 cities across the country. Also, the company is aiming to double the number of restaurant partners from the current number of 60,000 by January 2019 and the number will reach 5 lacs by 2020.

With this expansion, Foodpanda will become the country’s largest food delivery network and will now be serving all tier 2 and tier 3 cities and towns. This expansion will contribute 40% of the company’s total business across India.

Earlier this year, the company expanded its delivery network to 13 cities including Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kanpur, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Nashik etc. In the cities like Aizawl, Shillong, Raipur, Jodhpur, Bhavnagar, Patiala, Nellore, Durgapur, Shimla, Rewa, Bokaro, Foodpanda has also become the first food delivery service whereas, Goa became the 100th city.

Everyday Foodpanda is processing more than 300,000 orders from 60,000 restaurant partners across the country with 1,25000 delivery partners.
