Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), the bottling arm of Coca-Cola, reported a 373% increase in net profit (Rs 322 crore) over the previous fiscal.
Its revenues for the financial year 2018-19 stood at Rs 9,455 crore, a 4% jump, data sourced from Tofler revealed.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, HCCB, which accounts for two-thirds of Coca-Cola India’s revenues, had reported a loss of Rs 117 crore. The company deferred tax liability of Rs 237 crore.
“Our profitability was driven by a 10% growth in revenue driven by juice volumes, better product mix, gain from one-time exceptional items, favourable commodity prices,” an HCCB spokesperson told TOI.
