“We are killing it in hygiene, quality, and service,” says Mr. Kumar Shah, the CEO and Managing Director of ‘’Mitshi India Ltd’’ (a B.S.E. listed company) and its subsidiary ‘’Taaza Kitchen Enterprises’’, in a telephonic interview we conducted.
Taaza Kitchen is an online brand dealing with only private labels with an expertise in selling top quality Fruits and Vegetables. They not only guarantee great products but also wash and clean the fruits and vegetables, ensuring that it’s ready to cook.
When asked about the silent innovative marketing strategies being used by Taaza Kitchen – “We aim at providing the best. The rest will happen automatically. Most of our marketing has been through word of mouth.” responded Mr. Shah. Their Android application, being launched only 3 months ago, has already amassed over 1000 customers and are growing at a very fast pace.
Having 40 years of experience – Mr. Shah is a seasoned businessman and has the insight on how to run a successful business. The Taaza Kitchen and Mitshi team are handling procurement, production, logistics, and technology all on their own and operating quite successfully. They’ve already gained a huge number of customers and crossed 3000 orders completer last year.
“You’ll buy a Mobile once in 2 years; clothes once in 2 months; ketchup once in 2 weeks, but you’ll buy vegetables every 2 days. This gives our online store huge repeatability and a potential to grow rapidly!” says Mr. Shah with a cheerful voice.
Mr. Shah has plans to launch over 12-15 showrooms in Mumbai by the end of this year. He believes in strong customer service and says that physical stores make the customers feel safe and provide a great way to distribute logistics.
