Kraft Heinz Canada, a subsidiary of The Kraft Heinz Co., has acquired the assets of Ethical Bean Coffee. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2003, Vancouver, B.C.-based Ethical Bean roasts 100%
Fairtrade, certified organic coffee in such varieties as decaf, bold, lush, sweet espresso, classic and super dark.

Lloyd Bernhardt, co-founder of Ethical Bean, said the company believes Kraft Heinz’s expertise and scale will help Ethical Bean continue to build a solid reputation across North America for “great tasting coffee that is sustainably sourced.”
